Charles III gold 8 Escudos 1767 LM-JM AU Details (Reverse Graffiti) NGC, Lima mint, KM70, Onza-681. A soundly struck representative of this classic "Rat Nose" type, perhaps at one point long ago lightly cleaned, and since retoned to a charming reddish-gold hue. Though mildly engraved on the reverse with some scratched-in graffiti, the eye appeal otherwise is markedly strong.
