CHINA: brass badge (17.32g), ND (1920-1924), 38mm, enameled badge in the shape of the Star of David, with loop as made and chain & hook attached, zhi lu yu xunyueshi gongshu ("Bureau of the Circuit Inspector for Zhili-Shangdong-Henan") around wheat stem in blue center field, with a flower in each red triangle, separated by yellow borders, 1209 engraved on the reverse, VF-EF. The circuit inspector was a position created during the Peiyang Government (1912-28) with the largely nominal duty of overseeing the affairs of each circuit 's military government.
