Yen Lao ("Elders ' Banquet") is a traditional ceremony which takes place in Hanh Thien Village every mid-September on the lunar calendar. It celebrates the life of elderly people aged 70 & over and pays tribute to the home village. The ceremony includes rituals such as the presentation of statues, as well as folk performances and boat races.
