Prieur, Michael & Karin, A Type Corpus of The Syro-Phoenician Tetradrachms and their Fractions from 57 BC to AD 253, London, 2000. 218 pages, hardcover with dust jacket, fully illustrated throughout. This book, the first complete corpus on this series, is the classification from a photofile developed over the years of more than 12,680 specimens from every possible source. The author hopes to better both the photofile and classification in the coming years with any new information on this subject from prospective readers. Although the present book records more than 500 previously unpublished coins, there are probably more to be recorded, ex The Skanda Collection Library.
