A catalogue of 1245 types of punch-marked coins from northern India. There are great historical overviews, explanations and illustrations of the minting process, and nice line-drawings of the different symbols on the coins. There is an index of major symbols found on the coins, and a section on forgeries. There are even rarity indices of the different types. A very nice and important book, ex James Farr Collection Library.
