'IMRANIDS: Muhadhdhab al-Dawla, 987-1018, AR dirham (3.29g), al-Salîq, AH385, A-1587, citing the Buwayhid overlord Baha al-Dawla Abu Nasr (but without Nasir al-Dawla Abu Dulaf), minor weakness, VF, RRR. There was a rather extensive production of purely Buwayhid dirhams at al-Basra in 385 without the name of Muhadhdhab al-Dawla (Treadwell-Ba385), whence it makes sense that the 'Imranid king would have struck his coinage elsewhere during 385.
