The Frank Viles Collection of Sixpences | Charles I (1625-1649), Sixpences (3), 1625, Group A, type 1, Tower (under King) m.m. lis, (2), reads MAG: BR:, 2.43g, 7h, m.m. to left [on rev.]; another, reads MA: BR:, 2.96g, 12h, m.m. to right [on rev.] (Spink 2806; North 2235; Brooker 573, 574), the first scratched and creased and evidently scuffed from soil deposition, about fine, the second with scuffs to reverse, otherwise near fine; additionally, 1630-1631, Group C, type 2a, third bust, value behind, reads MAG.' BRI.' FRA.' ET HI.', rev. oval garnished shield, C-R above, 2.73g, 4h, m.m. plume (Spink 2809; North 2239; Brooker - [cf. 591, 594-95]), the legend form unknown to Brooker, otherwise scruffy and porous from soil deposition, good to fair (3)
