Edward VIII (1936), Fantasy Proof Crown, '1937', by Pinches for Hearn, c. 1955, edge milled, 31.16g, 12h (cf. ESC pp. 582 unlisted in silver [391D]), light handling marks behind head, otherwise brilliant and much as struck, extremely rare of this date, in NGC 'Francis' holder, graded PF67 ULTRA CAMEO (Cert. #5878643-005)

Examples of Hearn's imagined Edward VIII Crown are always popular at auction, with most bearing the date of abdication in 1936. Far fewer however are encountered dated for the year of the planned Coronation (1937).
