KINGS of MACEDON. Perseus. 179-168 BC. AR Tetradrachm (33.5mm, 16.92 g, 12h). Attic standard. Pella or Amphipolis mint; Zoilos, mintmaster. Struck circa 174-173 BC. Diademed head right / Eagle, wings spread, standing right on thunderbolt; ZΩ (mintmaster's) monogram above, ZΩ monogram to right, ΣA monogram between legs; all within oak wreath; star below. Mamroth, Perseus 13; HGC 3, 1091; Pozzi 980 (same dies). Attractively toned, scattered marks. Good VF.
