KINGS of CAPPADOCIA. Ariarathes IV Eusebes. Circa 220-163 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 14.54 g, 12h). Contemporary imitation. Diademed head right / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear in background; monogram to inner left. For prototype: cf. Simonetta 1 (Ariarathes III); cf. HGC 7, 804. Toned, previously gilded, remnant of mount on edge, numerous scratches and marks. VF. Very rare.
