KINGS of ARMENIA. Tigranes II 'the Great'. 95-56 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25.5mm, 15.86 g, 1h). Tigranocerta mint. Struck circa 80-68 BC. Draped bust right, wearing tiara with star and eagles / Tyche of Antioch seated right on rock, holding laurel branch; below, river-god Orontes swimming right; HΔ monogram on rock, small Θ in right field; all within wreath. SCADA Group 2, obv. die A19; Kovacs 74.2; M&D 1; CAA 19; AC 30. Lightly toned, some porosity, light scratches under tone, small pit on obverse. Good VF.
