ARABIA, Southern. Saba'. 1st century AD. AR tmrt – Quarter Unit (15mm, 1.34 g, 12h). Imitating Athens 'New Style' coinage, but with Roman-style bust. Roman style laureate head right within wreath / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; monograms to left, monogram and curved symbol of Almaqah to right. CAF 1.16iii; Huth 295. Dark toning. VF. Rare.
