EGYPT, Alexandria. Domitian. AD 81-96. Æ Hemidrachm (29mm, 12.15 g, 12h). Dated RY 12 (AD 92/93). Laureate head left, [wearing aegis?] / Pharos surmounted by two Tritons, each blowing a trumpet; between them is a lantern surmounted by a statue, holding situla and scepter; entryway below on left; L IB (date) to either side. Köln –; Dattari (Savio) 6784; K&G 24.191; RPC II 2677; Emmett 273.12 (R3). Dark brown patina with touches of green and red. Near VF. Extremely rare with Domitian's head left, only one in CoinArchives (the Dattari-Savio specimen sold in Naville Numismatics 42, lot 302 at £650 hammer), and two cited by the authors of RPC II Online (ANS and Dattari-Savio specimens).
