These seal copies were issued as numbered sets of three in 1904 by Chrichton Bros., jewellers of 22 Old Bond Street, who intended to make 2000 sets (to be sold for a guinea each), from the originals that were in their possession, in order that they could be acquired by the British Museum. The third and missing item is his seal as Governor of Virginia, 1584.
