Kingdom of Macedon, Alexander III 'the Great' AR Tetradrachm. Uncertain mint in Greece or Macedon, circa 350-275 BC. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus Aëtophoros seated to left, holding sceptre; AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟ[Υ] to right, no visible control marks. Cf. Price 844; cf.
