Ionia, Ephesos AR Cistophoric Tetradrachm. Dated CY 57 = 78/7 BC. Serpent emerging from cista mystica; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; quiver and strap above, NZ (date) over EΦE in left field, torch in right field. Cf. BMC 165 (dated NƸ); cf. Kleiner, Dated 58 (same); cf. Pinder 44 (same); cf. SNG Copenhagen 331 (same, same obv. die); cf. DCA 325 (same). 12.60g, 28mm, 1h.
