His bare-headed, draped, and cuirassed bust right; M IOYΛ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟC KAICAP / Griffin seated to left, placing raised right forepaw on a wheel; Δ to right; MH TPO-Π ΠΟ around, ΝΤΟY TOME ΩC in exergue. AMNG I 3620. Varbanov 5781 (same dies as illustrated). Good Very Fine; beautiful dark green patina; slight die shift on obverse; sharply struck on an extra large flan. A handsome coin, impressive and fascinating.
