Good Extremely Fine; even dark toning; extensive die polishing marks in fields suggesting this was a rusted die by the time Skidmore got it.

This edge not listed for this piece. As Waters notes, "Spence sold all his dies to Skidmore about 1796 so it is almost impossible to say for certain which are Spence's or Skidmore's strikings." This must be a Skidmore striking on a Skidmore flan. The flan is a better quality than many of Spence's.
