The Triumvirs. Octavian and Divus Julius Caesar. 38 BC. Æ Sestertius (or Dupondius?) (30mm, 17.72 g, 12h). Bare head of Octavian right; star of eight rays before / DIVOS/IVLIVS in two lines with laurel wreath. Crawford 535/2; CRI 309; Sydenham 1336; RPC I 621. Dark brown patina with touches of green and red, a few scratches, some light smoothing and glossy surfaces. Good Fine.
