Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (17.5mm, 2.91 g, 6h). "Judaea Capta" commemorative. Rome mint. Struck circa 21 December AD 69-early 70. Laureate head right / [I]VDAE[A] in exergue, trophy; to right, Judaea seated right in attitude of mourning, head resting on hand. RIC II.1 2; Hendin 1479; RSC 226. Toned, scratches, a few marks and deposits on edge. Fine.
