TUDOR. Elizabeth I. 1558-1603. AR Sixpence (24mm, 3.02 g, 2h). Fourth issue. Tower (London) mint; im ermine. Dated 157(2 over inverted 2). Crowned bust 4B left, wearing ruff; rose to right / Coat-of-arms over long cross fourchée. North 1997; SCBC 2562. Toned with hints of iridescence, a few light scratches. Fine. Interesting overdate on reverse die.
