1938 $1 PCGS Gem Mint State-65. A date and denomination that has been extremely difficult to acquire in a PCGS holder. Registry collectors know that gem status in the Canadian dollar series requires much more than the technical merits one would expect. It also requires eye appeal that is seldom found in coins that display this kind of fall colouration. Clearly a coin for the discriminating collector.
