Anonymous. AR Quadrigatus, c. 225-214 BC. Obv. Laureate Janiform head of Dioscuri. Rev. Jupiter, holding sceptre and hurling thunderbolt, in fast quadriga right, driven by Victory; below, ROMA in relief in linear frame. Cr. 28/3. AR. 6.32 g. 21.50 mm. Sound metal. Nicely toned, with golden hues. Blackish deposits and areas of striking weakness, otherwise good VF.
