M. Plaetorius M. f. Cestianus. AR Denarius, 69 BC. Obv. Young male head right; behind, ear. Rev. Caduceus between M. PLAETORI and CEST. EX. S.C. Cr. 405/5; B. 5. AR. 3.70 g. 19.50 mm. Scarce. Sound metal and broad flan, very slightly waved. Banker's mark on obverse. Choice and brilliant, with a hint of iridescence. Good VF.
