C. Vibius C. f. Pansa Caetronianus. AR Denarius, 48 BC. Obv. Mask of bearded Pan right; below, PANSA. Rev. C. VIBIVS C.F. C.N. - IOVIS AXVR. Jupiter, laureate, seated left, holding patera and sceptre. Cr. 449/1a. B. 18. AR. 4.10 g. 19.00 mm. Of full weight and perfectly centred on a broad flan. Lovely iridescent tone. Very minor corrosion spots on obverse and reverse die slightly rust, otherwise about EF.
