Divus Augustus, died 14 AD. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 26 mm, 12.00 g, 1 h), Rome, struck under Tiberius, circa 34-37. DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER Radiate head of Divus Augustus to left. Rev. S - C Eagle standing facing on globe, head to right and wings spread. BMC 155. Cohen 247. RIC 82. Attractive green patina. Slightly rough, otherwise, very fine.
