NORTHWEST GAUL. Aulerci Cenomani. Circa 80-50 BC. 'Obol' (Silver, 15 mm, 0.83 g, 4 h). Helmeted head to right. Rev. Celticized horse to right; above, S-shaped volute; below, maritime animal. DT 2423. A nicely toned piece with a lovely reverse symbol. Nearly extremely fine.
