Helmeted and cuirassed bust of Justinian I facing, holding globus cruciger in his right hand and shield, decorated with cavalryman riding over fallen enemy, in his left; around, blundered legend. Rev. Large I between A/N/N/O and X/X/X/ЧII; in exergue, THЄЧP. DOC 266. MIB 160. SB 239. A lovely example. Light areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
