Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos. Rev. A-ΘE / KA-PAIX / EPΓO-KΛH / ΔΙΟΝΥ Owl standing facing on Amphora; to right, prow left; on amphora, Λ; in exergue, ΣΩ; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 535h-i. Harshly cleaned and corroded, otherwise, very fine.
