Anonymous, 11th century. Seal (Lead, 19 mm, 5.05 g, 12 h). [MHP] - Θ[V] The Mother of God "Blachernitissa", nimbate, raising both hands in prayer. Rev. Θ / Δ/H-MI/[T]... Nimbate facing bust of Saint Demetrios, holding a spear over his right shoulder, and resting a shield on his left arm. Cf. Cheynet, Istanbul, 10.5. Holed and somewhat rough, otherwise, fine.
