IONIA. Smyrna. Circa 155-145 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 34 mm, 16.66 g, 12 h), Zopy(ros?), magistrate. Turreted head of the city-goddess to right. Rev. ZMYP/NAIΩN above the monogram of Zopy(ros); all within oak wreath. Jameson 1514. Milne, Autonomous 157. Weber 6117. Beautifully toned and of lovely style. A few light marks on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
