Traces of an arrow and a thunderbolt on the reverse of this coin show that it was overstruck on a type issued by the Western Satrap Nahapana. It is worth noting, in this regard, that king Gautamiputra defeated the Western Kshatrapas and destroyed Nahapana's dynasty sometime after AD 71.
