Russia, Alexander III, Rubel Petersburg 1883 - NGC AU58

Commemorative issue, issued on the occasion of the coronation of Alexander III as Tsar of Russia in 1883.

In total, almost 280,000 pieces were minted, 60,000 of which were handed over to the Ministry of War for distribution to the soldiers participating in the ceremony. The mint itself received a great number of requests to exchange the ordinary ruble for the coronation ruble.

A very nice specimen. Slightly circulated, but the background with a coin clock gleam.

Emisja pamiątkowa, wybita z okazji koronacji Aleksandra III na cara Rosji w 1883 roku.

Łącznie wybito prawie 280.000 sztuk, z czego 60.000 sztuk zostało przekazanych Ministerstwu Wojny do rozdysponowania żołnierzom biorącym udział w uroczystości. Do samej zaś mennicy napłynęła ogromna liczba próśb o wymianę zwykłego rubla na rubla koronacyjnego.

Bardzo ładny egzemplarz. Nieznaczenie ruszony obiegiem, ale tło z menniczym zegarowym połyskiem.
