Forster-89; Pax in Nummis-400; Julius-661. By G. F. Nurnberger. Obverse: Two adults and six children point to the radiant heavens; Reverse: Legend in four lines (containing date). Tied with just one other for the finest of the type in the PCGS census, this pleasingly toned issue celebrates two events--one being the first children's peace festival that occurred in 1650, the other being the pivotal Battle of Blenheim (Hochstadt; part of the War of Spanish Succession) in which Franco-Bavarian forces were repelled by the Grand Alliance.
