IONIA. Herakleia ad Latmon. Circa 140-135 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 35 mm, 16.27 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet with raised ear flaps, a bowl ornamented with tendrils and Pegasos, and a visor decorated with six horse protomes, a pendant earring and a pearl necklace. Rev. ΗΡΑΚΛΕΩΤΩΝ Club to right; below, Nike walking left, holding wreath in right hand, between two monograms; all within an oak wreath tied on the left. Lavva, Silberprägung Group II.B (V6/-).
