CARIA. Knidos. Circa 411-405/4 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 6.01 g, 10 h). Forepart of lion to right, with open jaws and outstretched right paw. Rev. Κ Head of Aphrodite to right, her hair bound in a plain sphendone, wearing a plain necklace; all within incuse square. Cahn 98 (V47/R64). SNG Copenhagen 253 (same reverse die). SNG von Aulock 2598 (same obverse die). Toned. Obverse struck from a broken die, otherwise, very fine.
