Near Extremely Fine. Very Rare.

Built in 1971 in commemoration of the 2,500th year of the foundation of the Imperial State of Iran, and having survived the 1979 Iranian Revolution (many other monuments associated with the deposed Shah having been torn down), the Shahyad Aryamehr ("Shah's Memorial") has since become known as the Azadi ("Freedom") Tower, and is one of the landmarks of Tehran, marking the western entrance to the city.
