Asia Minor, uncertain mint AR Hemiobol. Circa 5th century BC. Crested Corinthian helmet to left, serpent decorating side / Amphora, [T?] on front, within dotted square border within incuse square. Asia Minor Coins (online) 7045; Gorny & Mosch 186, lot 1350; cf. SNG Kayhan 1137 (helmet right, Neandreia); otherwise apparently unpublished in the standard references. 0.27g, 7mm, 2h.

Very Fine. Very Rare.

From the inventory of a UK dealer.

This coin could be a variant of SNG Kayhan 1137 as the style is consistent, this would place this coin at Neandreia in Troas, however the attribution for the type with helmet to the right is tentative only making this variant's attribution to Neandreia tenuous.
