A large-paper copy, handsomely bound in half morocco, of this essential work on Napoleonic medals, written while the exiled ruler was still alive. Covering 141 medals, Laskey describes each in some detail and then gives a historical overview of the events being commemorated. The frontispiece is a striking engraving by B.-J.-F.
