The inscription reads: "To Richard Margolis: Like climbing Mt Everest, a long ascent but worth the view. 26 Decembre, 1974 (signed) George Sobin, Jr." A few inserts are laid in, mostly tributes to Sobin published after his death in 2005. Laid in are commission bids given to Margolis to be placed at the sale, including bidsheets from Münzen & Medaillen (Basel), Catherine Bullowa and Félix Couchard, as well as notes on his own bids. Taped at spine; very good.
