Framed Reproductions of Droz Items
[Droz, Jean-Pierre]. TWO FRAMED REPRODUCTIONS OF PERSONAL ITEMS BELONGING TO J.-P. DROZ, REPLATING TO HIS PARTICIPATION IN THE 1791 MONETARY COMPETITION IN PARIS. The first item is Droz's receipt for two seats on the Diligence, traveling from London to Paris on March 3, 1791, for him to participate in the competitions. The second reproduces Droz's invitation to the Concours Monétaire of 1791. Both items are photocopied and housed in matching gilt wood frames [21.5 by 14 cm and 22 by 17 cm, respectively]. Fine. These copies were taken by Richard Margolis on February 1, 1984, from the originals in the Droz Family archives.
