Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.64 g, 6h). Uncertain Spanish mint (Colonia Patricia?). Struck circa 19 BC. Bare head right / Round shield inscribed CL • [V]; aquila and signum flanking. RIC I 86a; RSC 265. Toned, bankers' marks on obverse, cleaning scratches, areas of encrustation. VF.
