LUCANIA, Thourioi. Circa 400-350 BC. Fourrée Nomos (17.5mm, 6.51 g, 1h). Head of Athena right, wearing helmet decorated with Skylla scanning / Bull butting right; uncertain letters above, ivy leaf below, fish right in exergue. For prototype, cf. HN Italy 1787; cf. SNG ANS 1031–3. Lightly toned, cracks in plating, scattered marks. Near VF.
