Lucania, Metapontion (540-510 BC), AR Nomos, 7.76g, eight-grained ear of barley, MET in left field, rev. as obverse but incuse and without signature (Noe 14, same dies {Class I, Pt. 1} ; SNG ANS 166 same dies; HN Italy 1459), light scratches in obverse field, otherwise about very fine.
