Anne (1702-14), Pattern Halfpenny, in copper, anna • d: g • mag: br • fr: et • hib: reg:, diademed and draped bust left, rev. inverted die axis, united rose and thistle, crown above, toothed border both sides, edge plain, 9.61g, 6h, (Gregory III, 341 same dies; BMC [Peck] 721, dies 2+B*), a trace of double-striking to reverse, otherwise toned, with a hint of mint colour in deepest recesses, virtually as struck, a handsome coin, rare.
