Vijayanagara Empire, Antique handmade Solid Gold Ring for Men possibly from the "Krishnadevaraya Period", Gold Signet Ring, Used as a Ring cum Seal, inverted Kannada legend "Shri Krishna" in the central field, a figure of god Shri Krishna standing facing forward playing a flute, a cow behind and floral designs around, 15.7g, 22.87x21.86mm, 16.6mm inner diameter, one of the fantastic theme and well designed, in excellent condition, Extremely Rare.

Note: Krishnadevaraya was the third emperor of the Tuluva dynasty of Vijayanagara and reigned from 1509–1529 CE. Presiding over the empire at its zenith, he is regarded as an icon and an ideal ruler by many Indians alongside being considered amongst the most powerful Hindu rulers in the subcontinent. Krishnadevaraya earned the titles Kannada Rajya Rama Ramana ("Lord of the Kannada empire"), Andhra Bhoja and Mooru Rayara Ganda ("King of three Kings"). He became the most dominant ruler of the Indian peninsula by defeating the Adil Shahi, Qutb Shahi and Bahmani Sultanates and the Raja of Odisha, and was considered amongst the dangerous of potential adversaries by the Mughal Babur.
He is also known to be a great patron of science and culture, and a number of important intellectuals including the great mathematician Nilakantha Somayaji and the poet Tenali Ramakrishna resided in Krishnadevaraya's empire and the ruler engaged actively with these personalities.
