Sea bird or cockerel left with wing raised, cross pommée before, two drooping tail feathers, pellets in field, groundline, 1.06g, 315° (SL 64-100 plate coin; SCBI 69, 635 this coin; Spink 809D; T&S pp. 492-5; Gannon 113, 116-7, 154-6, 191-2, Figs. 4.7c, 4.64b; MEC 8 Series Qb; North –; Spink 809), a trace of surface porosity, otherwise dark patination, a really good very fine, very rare.
