Anglo-Saxon England, Secondary Series (710-760), Sceat, Triquetras Group, variety 3, type 101, winged female figure in Orans posture facing ~ Mary (?), rev. void cross with triquetra limbs, central pellet, rosettes in angles. 0.94g (SL 110-40 plate coin; Abramson, 2012a, Fig 38; SCBI 69, 447 this coin; T&S pp. 423-5, 341-4; Metcalf 234; Gannon 27, 49, 83, 162, 187, and Figs. 2.39, 3.6, 5.7a-b; 6.1; North -; Spink 821), the Marian type in Orans posture stunning, otherwise a touch off-struck, very fine, very rare.
