Louis XV Livre d'argent fin (1/6 Ecu) 1720-A AU58 NGC, Paris mint, KM453, Gad-296. Produced by John Law's Banque Generale as part of his program to fuel speculation in the Compagnie de Indes. Well struck, with gray and gold patina and underlying luster. Very scarce. Sold with old collector's envelope detailing provenance.
