Blacksmith copper "Eagle/Eagle"1/2 Penny Token ND Certified GENUINE by NGC, BL-48 (Extremely Rare), Wood-30. Both sides are crudely engraved with each having flan flaws and scratches. From the Warren Baker Collection of Blacksmith Tokens, where it was described, "The eagles are different from Wood-26 through 28 and the two sides are slightly different from each other. This is an extremely rare blacksmith, with only three known. The other two examples are impounded in the Bank of Canada Collection. Ex. Warren Baker Collection of Blacksmith Tokens, sold by Bowers and Merena in conjunction with the Frederick B. Taylor Collection, March 27 1987, Lot 1074.
